I just recently figured out that the line
“Kathy”, I said, as we boarded a greyhound in Pittsburgh…
refers to them getting on a bus and not putting a dog in a kennel.

Delta Living: Michigan

I remember meeting girls from Georgia who said, “Y’all talk like you’re from England.”

Today someone told me they could tell I was from Michigan. It was probably one of the biggest compliments I could get. He said my mannerisms, they way I talked and acted.

As I’ve moved away, I’ve become more and more proud of where I come from. Michigan’s economy is changing, but a lot of people…

Michigan Native Garrett Borns

Finding inspiration for music and lyrics from within and around the world, singer/songwriter Garrett Borns performs his eclectic fusion of sound, story and wordplay. He is a gifted 19-year-old singer/songwriter from West Michigan, studying classical piano and music theory at Grand Rapids Community College. 

His first album will be released later this summer.
